State-of-the-Art Dental Care Equipment

Spring Valley Dental utilizes the most modern equipment, technologies, and methods to give you the best dental treatment. We can detect potential dental problems early so they can be treated more easily. We can also provide the most precise dental restorations with our new technological advancements.

Providing the Latest in Dental Advancements

Telescopic loupes - These surgical telescopes are powerful glasses with magnifiers that allow our dentists to see fine details and problems that might go unnoticed by the naked eye.

Intraoral cameras - These small cameras help us see the condition of your teeth and gums, allowing us to zoom in on diseased areas, tooth cracks, chips, and worn metal fillings to take full-color images that allow us to make a careful diagnosis quickly.

Cone Beam Computer Tomography (CBCT) – This is an advanced type of digital radiography that provides your dentist with a 3D maneuverable image of your teeth, jaws and bone.  Traditional x-rays are invaluable to your dentist, however a CBCT allows your provider to dive deeper into the depths of your mouth, displaying to the dentist for example: how an impacted tooth is positioned in relation to a nerve or how to best position a dental implant to reduce trauma and shorten surgery.

Digital Impressions – Digital Impressions (also known as 3-D intraoral scanning) are the latest technology in capturing a replica of the mouth. These replicas are more accurate than a mold, and can be used for a variety of needs. After taking a scan of the mouth, a dentist can immediately send the digital impression to a lab where dentures, crowns, bridges, and retainers can be made quickly and accurately. Digital impressions are less messy, faster, and more pleasant than the goopy traditional mold material. Patients with a severe gag reflex or sensitive teeth can enjoy a more comfortable experience while a dentist takes the digital impression.
